This is an Cairns local saying that not only sums up a lot of what has made this a succesful community outpost in one of the last bastions of invasive colonialism. It fits neatly with the artists narrative and our running theme Art and Archetype.

Topics of Capricorn - The worlds most valuable places. Below the equator is the rainforest homelands of millions of - rich Indigenous inheritances. Not only land and resources, but rich in 21st century knowledge, culture, social values and with a recourse to means. Forgot monopoly money - this is gold and diamonds everything the northern hemisphere wasted their own. Occupy Learning!!
