Red- passion White - purity / heartspirit Black - Acting
In the book Iron John, a traditional European folk-tale also known as Iron Hans, Author Robert Bly devotes a section to -Riding the Red, White and the Black horses.
Bly likens these colours to three stages in a developmental sequence.
The fiery red knight energy runs hot in youth; the sensible white knightof midle age, and the less recognised Black Knight maturity, wisdom and experience, recognition of the shadow content for what it is. Times through the years, for all three, it seems... like the feminine trinity- Maid Mother Crone
The Black Knight in the Holy Grail- Monty Python is actually a red knight impetuous
